Sewage Treatment Plants - Installation

Back 2 Blue
We install sewage treatment plants all over the UK from small 6 person treatment tanks up to 100 person treatment tanks.
Installation of a sewage treatment plant covers all the associated groundwork involved with the tank including all the treatment components inside the tank and all the wiring of any electrics by a qualified part p certified electrician.
Do you have an existing cess pool or septic tank ? In some cases it is possible for us to convert your tank into a state of the art sewage treatment plant.
Questions and Answers
Q: Why a sewage treatment plant rather than a septic tank?
A: People generally need treatment plants when they are not on mains drainage and need to treat their sewage in order to discharge at an acceptable level for the environment agencies standards. In some cases it is possible to discharge into the ground by a septic tank but due to the heavy clay common in the south of England this is uncommon. A sewage plant will remove far greater amounts of sewage when compared to a septic tank.
Q: How much will it cost to run?
A: All the sewage treatment plants that we install are very energy efficient and quite cheap to run, parts of the plant only run for a short period twice a day, the units are fitted with an air compressor which uses very little electricity compared to some other treatment plants on the market.
Q: What will my garden look like after you have installed it?
A: After the sewage plant is installed all you will see is one manhole for access to the tank and that's it! we are very careful to minimise disruption of the surrounding area. Also in some cases we can adapt existing tanks which means we don't have to do any digging at all and there is no disruption whatsoever.
Q: How good is the sample? Does it meet the environment agency's standards?
A: The sample produced out of our sewage treatment plants is exceptional and far exceeds the environment agencies standards for discharge of effluent. The discharge of our treatment plants is so clean that if you wanted you could use it to water your plants!
Q: How does it work?
A: Our sewage treatment plants work by injecting air into a tank filled with sewage. The bacteria that already exists in the sewage use this air as a food source, the air acts as a catalyst for the bacteria to make them more effective at doing their job which is to eat the sewage and the bi product of this is leaving behind clean water ready to be discharged.
